VALENTINES DAY- Thursday
Please bring Valentine’s day cards
for 23 Students that your child can pass out to his or her friends
NO CANDY, and Please do NOT write kids
names on each card, only write from whom they are, this will make it manageable to pass the cards out.
♥️
If someone would like to send in heart shaped cookies to share with the class on Thursday,
we will make time for a special snack!
Please email me if you would like to do this or if you have any questions!
♥️
THURSDAY is ALSO our 100th day of
school!!!
We will make a 100 day necklace out of 100 honey nut cheerios and the kids can eat it either at recess or during snack time!
To celebrate further....our 100 days of school,
Teachers will collect 100 pennies from
each student on Thursday, February 14th! We ask that any students interested, count 100 pennies at home and bring them to school in a ziplock baggie on Thursday.
All coins collected will go towards making sure Cindy &
Joel (our Guatemalan students that we sponsor) have a LOVELY year ahead with Safe Passage. Thanks in advance for putting
in your 2 cents! (Or 100 cents)
♥️
Sprachmeister
With the first third of the year over,
the kids have gotten to feel comfortable around German if they are new to the
language. It is now our goal to have the kids speaking as much German as
possible...
To help motivate the kids to speak
more German we are beginning our
"Sprachmeister" program.
The goal is to speak as much German as
you can and at the end of the day, the class will reflect on whether they have
spoken "a lot" of German or "a little" bit of German.
After a student has gotten 10 days of "a lot" of German- they will
have earned a bracelet that says "Sprachmeister!"
Ask your child if they were a
"Sprachmeister" today!
♥️
It’s that time of year again and our last day of performances is on February 14th.What talented students we have! It is always such a pleasure to watch.
♥️
